Hello everyone,
I suppose I should have started blogging when I first got accepted, however I was intimidated not only to start blogging but financially! I think I have just this week lit a fire under my butt to start getting things together and all around stop being so negative about these aspects. So here I am. I honestly think I have been scared that I won’t raise the money therefore, I did not want to get to involved. Involved in getting to know my team and involved in praying for my journey and what God has for me. However, my heart yearns for missions. I just know that there is something out there that God is calling me too and this is it for now. I just want what he wants for me and honestly its HARD! isn’t that crazy? Something that you know is going to fulfill you and make the King of Kings happy is hard! The Devil is a lie I tell you!
I am just going to stop really quickly and just let EVERYONE that reads this know a couple of facts about myself.
1. I have never “Blogged” before and thought I would never be a “BLOGGER”
2. I am a TERRIBLE speller and typer. < see my computer shows that not even a word. 🙂
3. I hate re-reading what I have wrote because I always change things and I think when I first write, that’s what is from my heart so… sorry?? lol
ok, back to blogging. OK! So my journey… HEY TO EVERYONE WHO IS JUST FINDING OUT ABOUT WHAT I AM DOING! SURPRISE ( or not so much of a surprise to those who truly know me)
Those who don’t know me here we go:
Age: 27 (soon to be 28 March 29th) I feel like you would ask what I would want this year for my birthday. I’ll make it easy for you 🙂 haha. *Prayers *Money for my journey thanks in advance!
Occupation: PE teacher and coach. I LOVE MY JOB!!!!! Been doing this for the last 5 years and I do not have a complaint.
My life: I was raised in a WONDERFUL loving home with parents that will be married 35 years I believe this year?? I have an older brother Brandon who is 31 and is married to my wonder sister-n-law Desi. They have 3 beautiful children that I am IN LOVE WITH! I also have a sister that is my best friend and she just so happened to get married in August of 2016 to my brother-n-law Chris. They are perfect. No, seriously they really are love them. my siblings and I were raised in a christian home with parents that were always involved in church and were committed to seeing their kids love Jesus and that we did. I was raised in the same house my entire life and lived in the same city for my entire life. You may say that’s boring but when you have 14 cousins that live in the same city too, well you gotta have more fun than you are suppose too. I am VERY blessed to have cousins that I consider to be my best friends especially the girls because there are only 4 of us. Don’t feel sorry for us, we ALWAYS got our way haha! I attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University and have a Bachelors in Psychology and yes I can read your mind… kind of kidding. I also played volleyball all four years ( It kept me sane.. sometimes.) From there I moved back home and became a therapist for autistic children than a teacher and coach. I have 190 children a year and I LOVE IT! Crazy I know. Now you are caught up on my life. You are welcome.
interest/ Hobbies: people, traveling, exploring, learning, volleyball, hiking, family, fishing (only when they are biting, so I am not a true fisher woman).
Why the world race?? well, when I sold my house I knew I was going to get a lot of “offers” and I knew I was not suppose to take the first one. Well, the world race was brought up about 3 months later and I actually knew about 3 people who have already experienced it. Prayed, fasted and well here I am!! (total short version)
I will expand later in another blog if all goes well with this one.
