This month we are in Mzuzu, Malawi!

Malawi is known as the heart of Africa, and I can truly say I 100% believe that. The people here are loving, welcoming, and joyful. They have brought us so much joy and laughter in our first week here. They have also given us a few days to find rest before beginning our ministry tomorrow. Until December 22nd we will spend our mornings from 7:30 to 12 working in the primary school here at the church we are working with, then we will spend our afternoons working with members of the church doing evangelism door to door as well as in villages close to the city.

So far we have been to one church service, been on a few house visits, and met a LOT of people. We are excited to get to know the children in the school and get started on the many different ministries here. The weather is AMAZING and Mzuzu is very very green, which is something we have missed the past two months. Malawi is proving to be the true heart of Africa and we are so excited for the rest of this month.

I will try to post pictures ASAP! We are currently living in an area with limited wifi and the electricity goes out at random times during the day. So we are getting great use out of our headlamps this month!(haha)

P.S. Thank you to all of you that have gotten me this far and donated in many different ways. I don’t know how I will ever be able to thank you enough! I am currently still fundraising and am in need of $4,000 to be FULLY FUNDED by January 31st in order to continue the race. Please be in prayer about partnering with me this Christmas season! If you feel called to give a tax-deductible donation you can donate on my blog averiadams.theworldrace.org. Thank you again for the support and thank you to those of you that continually read/ subscribe to my blog, send words of encouragement, and follow this amazing journey the Lord has put me on!
