Dear Mom and Dad,
Today is the day that we have been waiting for. I know I’ve been excited from day one but for you there have been days that haven’t been that easy. It hasn’t been hard for you because of what I’m doing or where I’m going, but because of how long I will be away from you. I want to thank you for not letting this be something that made you tell me no. Thank you for being parents who said yes to the unknown, to times with little communication, and to things I am going to miss out on this next year. Thank you for saying yes to the Lords calling for my life. I know both of you have said for the past few months that you have had complete peace about this trip and I find comfort in knowing that the Lord will continue giving you peace through the tough times; but more then just the tough times I am so excited about the things we have to look forward to this year! A season of huge growth for all of us, learning how to be courageous and patient, and to see how the Lord uses us to advance the kingdom! These next eleven months may be tough but WOW will they be so worth it! I am so thankful for you and the example you have been for me! I love you guys!
