A few days ago our host spontaneously needed to visit a 15-year-old girl in the hospital. It was a cold-lit hospital with 10 beds per room. When she saw us, she seemed shy but also relieved that we were there. Our host had made the promise to arrive within hours so my teammate and I jumped at the chance to visit her and bring her food with him.

Brief backstory is she knows the Lord keeps calling her to officially and finally commit to a relationship with Him. Handfuls of people have told her silly rules such as that she cannot be a Christian if she wears nail polish. I shared my testimony with her and Kelsey, my teammate, prayed for her hoping that we can be authentic truth and shatter the convoluted view of what a follower of Christ looks like.

We together plan to see her when she is released from the hospital and below is the letter I will give her to continue encouraging her. Something to pray for would be that she will make the final choice to say yes to making Christ Lord of her life.
