I’ve started realizing that I need to write a practical update to keep everyone in the loop and in the know. If you are one of my beautiful, generous supporters or plan to be then you will want to read this brief breakdown!
Currently we have raised $11,413! That means I am about 65% funded.
I cannot get across how awed I am by this. God remains faithful and continues to shatter my feeble doubts. I never DREAMED at the beginning of fundraising that I’d be sharing that with you all. Thank you, thank you, thank you beyond anything I can simply say in words.
There is $6,204 left to raise in order for me to be fully funded.
To answer a common, extremely important question, I DO leave even if I am not fully funded. As seen above, our deadlines extend past our launch date or when we leave to partner with our first ministry in October. We’ve (you and me) have met the first two deadlines! Amazing. My next deadline is $13,000 by November 30th.
If the next deadline is NOT met by end of November, as far I know, I will have to come home. Especially if I am not actively raising funds or reaching out to others about partnering with me financially.
I believe we will reach it. I believe I will be fully funded in good time. I know our God and I know the generous people and believers around me. It will happen!
Monthly supporters this next part is for you in specific! First, again, so many heartfelt thank you’s to you. Your commitment is wildly valued by me in indescribable ways. I also know some of you have budgeted only to support me up until I leave on October 7th. If this is true and you need to stop giving you will need to specifically undue your automatic monthly giving. If you need help doing this, let me know!
Also, for monthly givers, if you give automatically, the amount you committed will continue to be donated monthly up until the point I am fully funded and once fully funded I will let you know in order for you to end your giving. I value your generous hearts and commitments but I wanted to relay this information to you so there isn’t any uncertainty or confusion!
