Hey, I’m still alive!!! Anyways, here’s an update of what we’re up to. We only have one more full day left here in Haiti. I am really really sad to leave 🙁 I have met some of the coolest people here, learned so much and enjoyed the children so much. I have grown in my relationship with the Lord in ways that I couldnt have guessed. Our ministry hosts have been some of the most devoted Christain’s I have ever met and it has been so cool to walk alongside them. I have learned the importance of being completely unashamed of your faith. The Lord tells us in His word that lukewarm faith is no good, and our ministry hosts have shown me how to be absolutely boiling for the Lord. I am happy to report that we got to lead 4 friends in accepting Christ! We have gotten to sit with people around the community and have conversations about the Lord. A couple days ago, my team got to sit with 2 sisters and their children and had the greatest conversation about the Lord ever. They thanked us for stopping by their house despite their appearance and cleanliness. We got to explain that as Christian’s, that stuff has no say. They were so happy to ask us questions about our faith and tell us about theirs. Their children recited bible verses from memory for us and we got to pray over all of them. The simple things like this are what I’m going to miss about Hait – how inviting the community is and how much the Lord is moving here. But on to Africa we go!! On Wednesday, we begin a 3 day travel process of flights from Haiti to New York, then Quatar, and eventually landing in South Africa. In South Africa, we get to stay 2 full days in Johannesburg before we bus to our final destinations in Botswana!!! I am so sad to leave, but also so exited to spend 2 months in Botswana.
Love you all!!!
