Praying over this city and this country was powerful, beautiful, and such an amazing opportunity.

Sunrise hikes. What an amazing time of worship. I have found that the Lord likes to hang out on mountains.
This is Kailey. She is on my current team and is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She is pretty cool.

This is called a Tuk-Tuk. It is our main form of transportation. Kind of like a taxi.

Rotti. Kind of like a rolled up Quesadilla… but better…

Kottu. Pretty much Rotti but chopped up on an iron grill. It’s pretty darn good as well.

I met these two women in a tea field. They asked me to take pictures of them working and then we talked for a while. Even with the language barrier we had a good time of fellowship.

Debated on whether or not I should share this. But this is what happens when you’re allergic to bed bugs and can’t help but scratch. Gross… I know. But don’t judge, the struggle is beyond real. And this is actually when they started to look better.
At first I thought this elephant was just parades around the town as entertainment, then I learned that she is a ”tow truck” for when the tuk-tuk‘s get stuck and she is best friends with her owner. Pretty awesome.
sorry we didn’t get a better picture, but this is a little piece of the 10ft king cobra that lived at the bottom of our stairs. He showed himself a couple times – crazy story (ask me later if you’re interested). But God is good and the cobra didn‘t harm any of us.

We stayed in the mountains of Sri Lanka where the tea fields were plentiful

10 hour train rides in the rain to the next city. Not a bad way to finish up Sri Lanka.
Throughout Sri Lanka, my team and I had the opportunity to pray over the city we were in, love on the people in the community and share the love of Christ through encouraging notes, having meaningful conversations, praying for them, etc. I also personally learned in Sri Lanka the true power that prayer holds and how important it is to pray without ceasing. A relationship with the Lord means speaking to him and intently listening for his reply. He is real, he is powerful, and he is good.
Thank You so much for all of your support and prayers. I am still in need of $600 by the end of this month in order to be fully funded! Praise God! If you feel led to partner with me in reaching this goal feel free to click the donate button. Thanks again!
