This is one of the many lessons I learned while living in Ukriane. Leaving last week was bittersweet; seeing the squad again and traveling to chile was incredible, but leaving all of the many friends we made over the course of the month was one of the hardest things I’ve faced on the race thus far. Making relationships with the people there was our main ministry, and after english class we would meet friends for coffee, play cards, or have painting dates.

One relationship that really touched my heart was with a girl named Kate. I met her at the school we were teaching at, and we bonded almost instantly over our love for art. We met up one afternoon for five hours and drank tea, painted, and giggled over the fact that we could barely understand each other. But even though we couldn’t even have a full conversation without a translater, it didnt matter. Because love doesn’t have a language. It’s crazy thinking that I formed a friendship with this girl for two weeks that is stronger than some of the friendships I’ve had for years back home.
How cool is it that our heavenly father can communicate with all of us, no matter what language we speak. The bond that is formed between the body of Christ is so strong, no matter where we live in the world.
So even though I miss all of the sweet friendships we made in Ukraine, I am so excited for the ministry we get to participate in in Chile. IT’S MONTH THREE YALL. I cant believe we’re already in South America, and I’m so blessed to have this opportunity. We arrived here in Ricolleta, Chile two days ago, and started ministry today. We are teachers assistants in a few of the local schools, and will be helping with sports programs, street evangelism, and Church services. I am also excited about the fact that we get to stay here at the same ministry for two months instead of one, and an added bonus: this month I am part of a mega team! My team (Vessel) and team Humbly United are living and serving together at La Iglesia De Baptista.
Our hosts have blessed us so much already and I cannot wait to start forming relationships with the people here and start spreading the gospel!

A quick fundraising update: I am currently a litle more than $1,000 away from my final finacial goal due mid- December. We are so close you guys!! This is where I need your help. If ten people will be willing to donate $100 I will be fully funded and will be able to continue my race! People are recieving the word of the Lord, and we are making an impact on the lives of the ministries we are partaking in, and I want more that anything to continue the work that the Lord has placed on my life. If you would like to join me on my journey, please click the donate button above! Thank you so much for everyone that has already partnered with me this year. The Lord is changing my life in more ways than I ever thought possible in two months, and I am so thankful for all the experiences I’ve already had and relationships I’ve built.
I couldn’t do this without you all, so thank you.
