So, one of my friends on my squad, Camryn, is the expert thrift shopping. So i knew this comin in because she has some retro stuff and rocks it! But how could that come in handy for the race?? WELL, turns out there is a crazy amount of second hand/ thrift stores in Romania. So obviously we had to go! Camryn, Colby, Jacob, and I went to this one right before closing and it was the size of a closet haha. But we found some goooood stuff…..
[ Back story: I brought my checkered vans with me on the race (wonderful decision i love them) and turns out Cam did too! Not gonna lie tho, I got them first.. just sayin]
Anyway, at this closet thrift store, we found this wonderful checkered hoodie. And HOW funny would it be to wear that and the vans at the same time?! So it was a must, also it was 2 USD so why not. Plus we snagged a couple of other good sweaters and funny shirts.
So after the haul from a few thrift stores we had the great decision to do a photo shoot. So we had to find the most expensive photographer in draganesti. So after a few fell trough we ended up turning to Colby and it turned out good!!
We gathered our good finds and found this abandoned house(?) and it ended up being so super cool and we took some artsy fartsy pictures then to the checkered hoodie. Cam and I had on the shoes, black pants, and then the idea came, we both had to get in the jacket together, I have never laughed so hard…
First we had to stretch the neck, cuz we both couldn’t fit!
But turns out without ripping it, there was no way we could make in together, and we tried hard.
Since Colby didn’t have a knife on him, we had the bright idea to grab a glass bottle, break it, then slice (while i had the hoodie still on.. sorry mom) the neck of the collar. And it worked!
So with enough room….
We made it!!!
Walking was hard tho…
Then getting out…
wasnt too bad since we cut the neck
So that’s the story of my cut neck !
