The days are long but the months are short.
My team and I have come to our final days here in Cambodia. Over these past two months I have bonded with 5 girls who were placed on my team. These girls were strangers to me. Not even 3 months ago did I know these girls or that they even existed. They were simply strangers that I decided to move halfway across the world with. Which is nothing short of crazy, but as I look at this team, I see how God intentionally brings people in our lives. How paths cross and then we are left with life long friends. I have found just that when I look at these girls. We have grown a tremendous amount in more ways than one. We have experienced intimacy with the Lord, extended community, and what it is to be a missionary.
During our time here in Cambodia we had the chance to put our new skills to use in our daily ministry tasks. This month consisted of sticky hands, long bike rides, and overflowing creativity. Mural after mural my team and I left the hands of Jesus all over Cambodia. Our final painting was for the kids nap room at one of the school’s here in Battambang. We brain stormed and soon got to mixing paint. This last mural was by far one of my favorite ones to create. A drawing my teammate, Marissa designed so beautifully but with the help of everyone we made the drawing come to life!
Here are some pictures and mini summaries of my teammates.
Kate Remsburger (from NY). She constantly amazes me with how she seeks the Lord out and her willingness to submit to the Lord’s calling for her life. I have seen so much growth in this girl over the last month. She holds the gifts of wisdom and prayer.
Caroline Johnson a southern peach (GA). This girl is wise beyond her years. She holds the title of team mom but is an even better friend. She is a trustworthy person that whole-heartily desires intimacy with the Lord. She is always striving to bring kingdom on earth.
Iris Howell (NC). A kid at heart this girl radiates the Fathers joy daily. She is the type of person that can put a smile on her face within seconds. A Godly woman who desires to grow in the Lord’s love everyday.
Marissa Martinez (IN). A creator and passionately pursuing the Lord. This girl holds a boldness to her. She displays peace in her words and has a kind heart to her. I have seen this girl grow so much in her walk with the Lord. She is a fighter. 
Michelle Wright (Ontario, Canada). A tender person who seeks to understand and love on others. Adores the Father’s word and applies it to her life. Always striving to become the woman God has designed her to be.
