Hey everyone!
So as some of you may know, I’m back in the states now! It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride these past 9 month with my last month being one of my hardest, but I had an amazing host and amazing friends to help me get through it. I actually saw the Lord working all over Nepal when I was there. We went into the city of Gorkha for a week which is in the Jungle of Nepal, and I saw the beauty of God in the trees and the faces of the people I was able to meet. We were able to witness our host’s grandmother get baptized, along with one of her other grandkids! It was a truly amazing experience to see the work of God in their lives, as He brought them closer to Himself through hardship.
Now I’m back in the US, but I’ll never forget all the amazing things I was able to experience while I was traveling. Over these past 9 months I’ve been able to work as a teacher, medical assistant, construction worker, worship leader, actress, evangelist, gardener, painter, translator, and more. I’ve made friends all over the world and I’ve seen and experienced the Lord’s love in ways I didn’t know were possible. I’m walking away with so much more joy, peace, understanding, and trust in Jesus.
I know transitioning back into life in America is going to be a challenge, but boy am I glad to be back in the land of bald eagles, fresh air, and cheeseburgers! I won’t actually be home home until mid July and before then I’ll be traveling around the states a bit, but when I’m back I’d love to talk with any of you that want to! I can’t wait for all the Lord has in store for me going forward, and I want to thank you all for your continued support!
