I am 28 years old and will turn 29 in April while in a different country. I lived in Madison Wisconsin for four years and worked as an Analytical Chemist at a Pharmaceutical Company and went to church at Rchurch
I grew up in Ohio on 120 acres (most of the land is my grandparents land). My parents are Daniel and Mariann Wiita. Have 3 siblings, the oldest is my sister Stefanie, then an older brother Derek and lastly my younger brother Kory. My sister is married with 3 children and my older brother is married with a son. My younger brother is married and graduated from law school and passed the Ohio bar.
Your heart: Tell us about the things that have impacted it.
My parents and my entire family who live in Ohio and Florida impacted me the most. I had my grandparents and extended family close by my whole life and we spent a lot of time together and not just on holidays. Without them and my immediate family, I wouldn’t be who or where I am today. Thanks to everyone in my family for helping me set my path. I am blessed to have such a close knit family to grow up with.
Also many of the brothers and sisters I have gotten to know in Ohio, Florida and Wisconsin impacted my life. RChurch became my Wisconsin Family. Almost everyday with them I learned something new and how to live life. They showed me bad habits in the way I speak or think and showed me how to change my attitude to exhibit love, joy and hope. They never let me stay in negative thinking or speaking. I had a second family to count on when living away from all my family. Thank you Deborah and Ryan Rippchen, Linda Hahn, Jesse Sadler, and Rina Jorgensen for being some of the ones to show me the Joy in Life. Thank you Gina Ripp for being a good friend. Thank you Judy Duggan for opening up my Worship Life. I love to Dance and sing a lot before the Lord now. Thank you Jeff and Amy Jones for opening up your home to me and your family at lunch time on Sundays. Thank you to everyone one else at Rchurch for being a Great Wisconsin Family.
Thank you Pastor Sadler for all your teachings and excitement of life. You opened the light of life to me with how you live life. You have given me a desire to know all truth in Jesus but also to live it out. You made church more than a place to sit at on Sunday.
Thank you Pastor Tim Jorgensen for teaching me and not allowing me to settle for less than who Jesus would have me be. Also for allowing me to teach the children on Sundays with you. Everything you taught me through our conversations and teaching will go with me to every country.
Thank you Andy Hayner for showing me how to live life with compassion. You taught me how to bring life to people in every situation whether it was sitting at a cafe drinking coffee or walking in Walmart. Thank you for letting me go with you to all the different churches. Every place we went I learned new things and saw God work in all kinds of ways. You taught me how to be a disciple maker.
Your interests: What do you love to do? I LOVE riding horses and being around horses. They are the best animals ever! I enjoy writing, I currently have a couple book ideas I am trying to write. I am not sure how I am at writing blogs but I will do my best. I love read all kinds of books and talk about God to other people. I love to see other people succeed and be touched by Love and Power of God.
Where do you maybe feel called? I feel called into missions and reaching everyone around the world.
Your spiritual journey: What have been the significant factors and who have been the significant people? What are the highlights?
I gave my life to my Lord and Savior when I was 9 and my first mentor was a friend I met when I was in high school and he was in college. His name is Joey Scavuzzo and he helped me get of some dry times in my relationship with God. I began to Learn that God still does miracles and healings when my aunt was healed when I was in college. It wasn’t until I moved to Wisconsin that I learned God can use me. I have learned a lot from my Pastor T.L Sadler and Pastor Tim Jorgensen. I was baptized in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues. I have also went on mission trips with my mentor, Andy Hayner. Andy has taught me the most and helped me develop a deep relationship with God and activated me in who I am in Christ. Since meeting him I have seen God use me and a lot of other people to heal sickness and disease or pain. Also cast out demons.
I hope to grow closer to God and know Jesus more.
Someone from my church (Molly Doble) was talking about the World Race and how she was going on it (She already is back) and the idea of the World Race just connected with me. As I thought about it, I checked out the website and looked at the routes. And I heard God tell me this was it. The adventure I wanted. I hope to learn about more cultures and make connections. But mostly to bring the Life of the Gospel to people around the world. My worries…
How can we be praying for you?
Please pray that God grants me all spiritual wisdom and understanding and that He may supply all my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
That my finances for the trip are provided. That a prayer warriors team backs me up the whole time.
And that all the connections I need in each country are there when we arrive.
