Food: Bread. We cook for ourselves this month. So whatever is cheap, easy, and filling. Hopefully we will get to try authentic African dishes.
As we were sitting around with our new ministry hosts, learning about our new ministry for this month. I was getting more and more excited about what was to come. Their mission and their heart for the people of Cote d’Ivoire has given me such encouragement going into this month. As the young men driving these trucks sit around all day waiting for their shipments to come into the port of Abidjan we will be engaging them in conversations about Islam and Christianity. Satan once used these trucks to spread idolatry, drugs, HIV/AIDS, hate, and greed. Now God is using these people to spread the gospel by the same means. Now all I have to do is learn some French.
