Dear PJ,
I am writing you this letter to thank you for making my month in Thailand one that I will never forget. There are not enough words to thank you for your hospitality and the way you selflessly served our team. Whether it was bringing us fresh fruit from your garden, stopping to buy us banana roti because you know how much we love it, or inviting us into your home, you welcomed us and served us so graciously. I learned so much about what hospitality means from you. You showed me what it looks like to welcome people and to serve someone with your whole heart.
I am honored and humbled to have been chosen to be a part of your very first team. Your faithfulness amazes me everyday. Thank you for praying faithfully for two years for our team. You are dedicated and devoted to your prayers, and you have full faith that God will answer them. I have never seen someone so confident in the promises of the Lord, and you have inspired me to continue growing in my faith.
Thank you for the way you and PA serve your community. When I look at the both of you, I can see that your marriage is built with Christ at the center. You are both constantly looking for ways to reach out to your village and build relationships with people to show Christ’s love. You paint a beautiful picture of a marriage that honors the Lord.
PJ, you are the most joy filled person I have ever known. I truly believe that you are so filled with Christ’s joy and that overflows to everyone around you. I so admire your childlike spirit and how you are always looking for opportunities to make people smile. The room lights up when you walk in. Thank you for showing our team what true joy in Christ looks like.
Thank you for the genuine community you invited us into. Your church is unlike one I have ever seen. I am so encouraged by the way you meet multiple times a week to have meals, sing worship songs and study the bible together. Your church reminds me of the one in Acts, constantly encouraging each other and learning to be more like Christ together. Thank you for letting us be a part of that during our month of you.
There are not enough words to thank you for the month we got to spend together. It was a true honor to serve along side you and to witness your incredible ministry in Thoen. 1 year, 2 year, 5 year, 100 year, I will think to you.
