Just wanted to share a few pictures from our first week in India. The squad has been in villages outside of Ongole encouraging local believers, praying for tons of people, watching Jesus perform the miraculous, and bringing new brothers and sisters into the fold of Christ.

G SQUAD member Tristan Lensvelt preaching the Gospel in one of the villages. 30+ people prayed to receive Christ that night.

A few of the village boys.

Pictured below: this little boy felt the love of Christ through alumni team leader Eric Danger Musil.

G SQUAD member Shelby Downing playing the “slap” game with a girl in one of the villages. (The kids always love that game)

Below: this man and his brother donated all of the land for the village’s church. We were able to encourage and pray for their family.

That smile!

Mary Schwark plays with a little girl during one of the village school visits.

These girls were stoked to have Leah and Mary playing with them.

Walking down the road and some lady just hands me her baby girl. She wanted a picture but I also got to pray over the child. Most of the children here don’t receive names until they are 5 months or older. Thankfully, the Lord knows this little one’s name.

Squad member Erin Stephens praying over a man in the village.

Kathryn and Kristine praying for this man and provision for his household.

The squad being welcomed into a village with a parade… drumming, dancing, and singing. This is squad member Joey Badinger caught up in the crowd.

One of my favorite interactions on the race thus far.. Shelby and I prayed that God would clear up his eyes but the Jesus had something else in store. After we prayed I felt God saying “Give him a hug.” I soon realized that this 9 year old boy didn’t know what a hug was. So I put his arms around me and I wrapped him up in mine. I held him for a solid 30 seconds before I let go. When I let him go the biggest smile came over his face and he actually jumped joyously. I was then able to fix his bicycle. Sometimes, the Gospel looks like giving a little boy a hug and fixing his bike. So priveledged to have had a couple hours with this little dude.

A big shout out to everyone who has already donated in this season. I am currently mostly funded for this time around but still lack about $2200 from being fully funded. If you are interested then please hit the donate button. Also, it’s looking like I will more than likely be leading a fresh squad again starting in August after about 2 months back in the states during June and July. I am looking for donors willing to support monthly long-term. Any amount monthly helps. If you are interested let me know.
