Hello Friends!
First, welcome to my blog! I am not much of a blogger. This is my first attempt at trying to become one. I am not sure how many of you I have told, or how many of you have seen my post on Facebook about my travel plans this August. This August, I will be leaving the country for 11 months. Why? I am going on the World Race. What is the World Race? The World Race, organized by Adventures in Missions, is an 11 months mission trip to 11 countries. Which countries would I be going to? Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Lesotho, South Africa, Namibia, Haiti and Dominican Republic. Yes, I am nervous and a bit scared to do this, but I am also more than excited to see how God will use me and my squad for the next year. It will be challenging to leave everyone I know behind (believe me, I have experienced this already), but, I am willing to leave everything behind for a year for The One that has given me His life. Besides, there is no fun in staying in your comfort zone for your whole life, right?
You might be wondering how you can be a part of this, or how you can help me? Good question. All I ask of you is that you please pray for me, and for all the people I will be serving with, that not our will, but God’s will may be done in everything we do for the next year. Pray also that we may selflessly and wholeheartedly serve Him each day. When I leave, I will be blogging at least once a month.
