Welcome to Zimbabwe!!! We have been here for a week and a half at this point. We have spent our time building relationships with the community at the church we are serving at. We are at Bulawayo Baptist Church, and our host is the Pastor! Pastor Jeff and his wife Tammy have welcomed us with open arms into their beautiful home just outside the city. I have loved it here so far!!! And it’s only the beginning!
Our next two weeks looks like us being small group leaders at VBS or what they call Holiday Club. My one hope for this blog is that people would read it and join us in prayer!! Prayer has proven to be so powerful, because we serve a powerful God, so please join with us!!
Prayer Requests !!!!

Strength for the leaders, we will only make it with the strength of our Savior
Preparing the hearts of the children, that the Lord would be softening their hearts and eyes to receive the good news of Jesus Christ
That we would see every moment as an opportunity given by God, to plant seeds and bring these kiddos closer to Christ
That we have a joyful and fun time because we serve a God that wants us to enjoy ourselves while serving Him!!!
PS- I’m on the Green Bulldogs team and we’re trying to beat the Blue Wildcats, so prayers for a crushing defeat!!! Wooo Gooooo Dogs!!!!
