This morning I opened up my phone to check on my fundraising status, and guess what…
Thanks to your support, your donations, your prayers, and God’s faithfulness, I am fully funded!
Mid-September I was jobless, discouraged, scared, and had recently announced that I was going to begin fundraising for the World Race. I was worried that I’d never be able to achieve my financial goal of $16,617. A pastor from my church recommended that I “get on my face before the Lord,” and so there I was, in September, crying to God for help because I did not know how I was going to do this.
And here I am again, excited and blown away by His faithfulness. I am fully funded and two months into the race. I’m learning a lot, being stretched far out of my comfort zone, and experiencing the Kingdom in ways I’ve never seen before.
I will blog more about this month in Ecuador soon, but for now, I have to run off to teach English to a small group of kids in the Church that my team is ministering at. It’s an amazing group of kids, an awesome church and an even greater God.
Thank you again, I’m so thankful for you all!
PS These flowers were just given to me for free from a street-side vendor named Cesar. He said I was pretty and just handed them over. He didn’t even know that I had much reason for celebration, but yet here I am! Shout out to Cesar. You da man!
Psalms 36:5 Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.
