Welcome to my giant Journey. My name is Sarah, I like ice cream, art, and wild flowers. I hate pickles, driving, and decisions. One day I want to open my own ministry. Possibly a skating rink. I enjoy playing games, cooking food, finishing art, and goofy dancing. I think storms are beautiful and would gladly run through the rain. I would rather wear glasses and vans than makeup and heals. Water is my favorite drink, but when I occasionally crave carbonated somethings I choose redbull or a fun concoction at sonic. I don’t like anything to be plain or boring. I am easily distracted and terribly forgetful. Oh look, I am rambling… (;

A couple years ago I heard about this wonderful thing called The World Race. It did not occur to me that I would be one of the racers one day. I had several ideas of what I wanted to do after graduating, and I just could not choose, but God pointed me in this direction. I prayerfully applied and was accepted to this 11 month mission trip. I leave in August 2017, but the journey really started the day I got accepted. I will be raising the funds and preparing my heart for this entire time before my departure. I am going to need a lot of support in this. This journey will take a lot of daring faith, persistent prayer, and complete obedience.

In this blog I will be posting at least once a month during the Race, and will try to post each month prior to the race. Here is where you can find updates on how you can help as well as how you have helped. You too can be a part of this journey simply by supporting me. If you would like to keep track of my journey you can subscribe to my blog by clicking the subscribe tab under my name on the left side of the screen. Doing so will notify you of any new posts.

If you would like to support me in this fantastic adventure, click on the donate button located on the right side of the fundraising bar or click here.

Please keep me, and the people I share with, in your prayers.
