We arrived in Serbia on March 3rd and there was snow on the ground! We had only summer clothes pretty much, so we had to go shopping. We quickly got involved with the activities going on here. My team is living in a church this month. It’s so lovely in Novisad. It’s my first time in Europe and I’m just loving it! The weather, the people, the culture, the architecture, the cheap and delicious bakeries, etc. Our ministry is mostly to help with the events already happening at the church, to attend events, to make relationships with church members and community members and invite them to events such as game nights or conversational English lessons, to tell our testimonies, and to help with anything as needed. I also love that we cook most of our meals. I love making my big breakfasts! Oh, and we have two pet cats outside–I feed them my bacon trimmings and they are super sweet to me. I’ve been craving some cat love. It feels so homey here. Novisad boasts a beautiful fortress and city center. Below are some pictures from my time here so far.
