I lay awake in the night
Bitten by roaches and mosquitos without any fright
I rise to the sun and roll off my sleeping pad
Only to find that my hidden peanut butter went bad
All of my clothes smell like sweat and asian curry
But it’s okay because the shower is broken so there is no hurry
I eat bread for breakfast, lunch and dinner
My carb diet is making my body so much thinner!
There are no rules in other countries so I feel totally free
Including my ability to stand on the side of the road and pee
I wont get started on everyone who poops their pants
I will give my squad-mates that chance
My friends, co workers and family are my team
But don’t worry 24/7 with all girls never makes me wanna scream
Finding wifi is like sending the squad on a scavenger hunt
& when we find it we all fight for the network without a single grunt
Emotional breakdowns have become apart of the race
but you would never know by the cheerful pictures and smile on my face
This life I am living is nothing but fun
