The end of February is near and March is 5 days away. With that said, in just 24 days in the month of February and WITHOUT a formal fundraiser for this month, I’ve received $1,162 in donations.
*PRAISE BREAK*
I really didn’t understand how important connections and relationships were in this process and why we were encouraged to reach out to everyone we know to be apart of this journey until this month. Importantly, we want our supporters to have a deeper understanding of WHY we fundraise.
As mentioned by Adventures in Missions and the World Race program, “fundraising is not about getting the money to pay for my airplane tickets. Fundraising is about connecting the entire body of Christ to minister in every nation. As the one who is going on this trip, I am responsible for proclaiming God’s good works to those who are investing their prayers, time, and money in sending me out. I am building a network of people who are doing ministry with me and Adventures in Missions. Those of us on this journey ask people to support us because we want to invite them to be a part of the ministry. Fundraising is about the body of Christ joining together to see God’s Kingdom come.”
So just know that when I ask for your support, it’s because I want you to be apart of this journey with me too.
I would like to send a HUGE THANK YOU to my supporter thus far! Just know that without your obedience to giving, I wouldn’t be almost halfway to my first financial deadline, so again I say THANK YOU! Thank you to those who have been praying as well, because we know that the ultimate force/weapon on this Earth is prayer.
