• I’m thankful that everyday I get to wake up in Cambodia.
  • I’m thankful that I get to walk out on the balcony and take in the beautiful Cambodian sunrise.
  • I’m thankful that everyday I get to eat delicious food.
  • I’m thankful that everyday I get to bike around the streets of Battam Bang. 
  • I‘m thankful that Asian roads are crazy and every bike ride is a thrill trying to navigate traffic. 
  • I‘m super thankful that Cambodia is a flat country. 
  • I’m thankful that I get to spend my mornings painting murals at a preschool. 
  • I’m thankful that I get to paint with my wonderful teammates Harper and Brynley, who are amazing artists.
  • I’m thankful for Green Mango coffee shop that sells pastries that taste like home. (The lemon pound cake is actually incredible)
  • I’m thankful that I get to spend my afternoons teaching english to 40 absolutly adorable Khmer children.
  • I’m thankful for their smiling faces and loving hearts.
  • I’m thankful that I get to teach alongside a women filled with the love of Jesus named Chady.
  • I’m thankful for the ice cream man that drives by class everyday. 
  • I‘m thankful that everyday after ministry I get to come home to 39 squadmates who passionately love Jesus and are such inspirations.
  • I’m thankful for late night talks.
  • I’m thankful for spontaneous worship sessions that last well past quiet hours.
  • I’m thankful for rest days spent at coffee shops.
  • I’m thankful for the WiFi found at coffee shops so I am able to talk to loved ones back home.
  • I’m thankful for my parents and their continual support.
  • I’m thankful for my extra long and wide sleeping pad that is so much more comfortable than the floor.
  • I’m thankful for Cambodian markets that smell like rotting fish, but have an incredible assortment of delicious fruits and vegetables.
  • I‘m thankful for my new found love of pinapple banana smoothies.
  • I’m thankful that God is good. 
  • I’m thankful that this is life.
