Anxiety, Stress, Doubt, Insecurities, Unease these are all things that I feel, but these things have no power over me. They have no power because I do not have to fight them alone, I have God and He makes me so much stronger.
Whenever I am feeling scared about the future even if its the smallest thing like a Spanish quiz to a massive thing, like where I want to go to college, I pray to God. He takes my hand and walks with me through the challenge.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you, he will never leave you nor forsake you
Deuteronomy 31:6
When my mom was diagnosed with cancer I felt incredibly overwhelmed. Anxiety, stress, and doubts were able to grab hold of my mind. I started to wonder if my mom would ever live a normal life again, if she would ever just be happy again? Then I took a step back and prayed. I gave my worries and my stress to God knowing that he would be there for me. That He would walk with me in this challenge and more importantly that He would be there with my mom. And He was.
God does not want us to be afraid of the future. God wants us to live our lives for Him. He wants us to give him our trust. To know that He will always be with us. That He will give us the strength and the tools to handle the challenges.
I cannot imagine a life without God. I cannot imagine not having Him give me strength and confidence.
This is why I want to go on the world race. So the strength God gives me can be shared with others. So the trust I have for God can be shared with others. So that God can be shared with others.
God is incredible,
He is amazing,
He is indescribable
and I want others to be able to feel this. To know that whatever they do they won’t be alone, that they have the strength of the God who created the universe beside them.
