Hello there,
If you had asked me three months ago what my plans for next year were, I would have said college.
If you had asked me what college, I would have shrugged and said I don’t know yet, but I’ll figure it out.
If you had asked me what I wanted to do as a career, I would have said whatever occupation I was pondering at that time.
Honestly, for my entire life, leading up to around three months ago, I knew very little about the direction I wanted to go. There were somethings that I did know though. I knew that I wanted to help people, I knew that I wanted a family, I knew that I wanted to be successful, and most importantly I knew that I wanted to live my life with God and for God, I just didn’t know how to yet.
One day while I was online searching for my next step, I stumbled upon the World Race website. As I watched the videos, and read the blogposts I realized that this is what I wanted to do next. That this is what God wanted me to do next. I believe that my lack of clarity in my plans was God leaving a door open for me so I could stumble upon this amazing opportunity to serve Him.
I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve God in Colombia, Ecuador, Cambodia, Thailand and Albania. I get to spread Gods word, His love and His peace all across the world and I could not be more excited or grateful! I get to spend nine months of my life serving God and words cannot describe the impact that has on me.
