Life is crazy! Can anyone agree with me on that?! Everyone has their own crazy schedule and if you are a part of my family (especially in the summertime when the resort is in full swing), you have a crazy schedule x3….
This makes it more challenging to sit and have community with God and listen to what He is saying to me. Since training camp I have been adamant about seeking Him.
Here’s how it looks in my schedule….when I’m driving to work, I praise Him. When I’m exercising (swimming across our lake from work to home), I pray (slightly that I don’t drown and majorly for my team, friends, and family). When I am digging trenches (a perk of growing up on a resort), I meditate on scripture. When I’m scrubbing toilets (you guessed it, another perk….), with every swirl of the toilet water, I name an attribute of God.
Relationships are challenging at times but to grow a relationship, it takes time and effort. I have been putting in the effort because HE is worth my time, my prayers, my every thought. When I take time to be with God, I see Him in everything. I am a happier person the more time I spend with God. Ask my family 😉

Relationships are like toilet water…they are always moving in some direction. Just like a relationship, if the toilet water moves in the wrong direction…life will STINK 😉 I can’t speak for everyone reading this but I sure want to keep my relationship with God moving in the right direction and for me, it’s done through time spent with Him, moments soaked in His presence, and learning more about God through His word.
