Many Nations Under One God
This is only the beginning of many nations, cultures and beliefs. What would it look like to see God move through people and make that connection between the nations. The most incredible connection that could ever be possible through Jesus Christ. Well guys he’s moving and to see the love of God moving is so amazing. Even only being a month into this journey has been incredible. There is just something so touching and moving to have people from all over come together to love and praise the same God. To be in unity over the one thing in common. Language, culture, lifestyles and beliefs have nothing on the connection with God. Why let these things become a barrier when you have the most important thing in common.
Worship is one of my favorite ways of connecting to the Lord. There is just something so peaceful and calming about connecting with the Lord through worship. I love singing out and just surrendering my all to him through song. To lift my hands and sing about how amazing He is and the amazing things he is doing in my life. Even in a time of hardship it’s one of my favorite ways of letting go and turning all my troubles over to him. A peaceful cry of surrender.
Everyone has their own way of connecting to God. Right now my biggest one is through worship. I pray this year I seek and find more ways of connecting on a deeper level. But I believe worship will always have a huge part in it. I’m excited to see the supernatural experiences I know God has in store.
Since I arrived in Colombia I have had this idea laying on my heart but I was so nervous to express it. I was worried that others may not think of it as a good idea or wouldn’t want to participate. I decided to push through my fear and asked my team about it and I’m so happy I did. They thought it was an awesome idea, so I continued to ask other people in the foundation. Surprisingly to me, not one person turned me down on the idea. Instead everyone was extremely excited to participate. This was such a relief and just showed me how God follows through with the things he places on your heart.
This idea involved many different languages and cultures. All serving the one and only God. Everyone coming together in praise and worship. Language is only a barrier when you allow it to be. Otherwise, it’s nothing but a beautiful addition to a verse in a song. A God given and blessed connection through him. What would it be like to get different nations together in the name of the Lord? Well let me show you! It’s the most beautiful, moving and inspirational thing. Moving forward with this gave me chills and brought an increasing smile to my face. My vision of set up was ruined by weather and other difficulties but that just shows that its not about the surroundings but coming together in unity to serve our Lord and Savior.
