My teammates and I are in beautiful Pretoria, South Africa now and I wanted to share some fun facts with you that I’ve learned about this great country!
- South Africa has 3 Capital Cities! Pretoria, Cape Town and Bloemfontien to be precise!
- The national animal is called a Springbok, a medium sized Antelope.
- There are 11 official languages, 3 of which are Afrikaans, English and Zulu to name a few.
- Come on over for a Braai! Similar to an American BBQ, except during a Braai meat is cooked over an open fire and qualifies any time of the year.
- The Rainbow Nation is another name for South Africa because of its diverse multiculturalism throughout the country.
