Lets do a little math. What do you think happens when you take 7 women and put them in room with zillions of baby clothes?
You get 7 dreamy, doe eyed women all oohing and ahhing over tiny onesies, overalls and dresses.
Part of our ministry this month has been putting together baby boxes that go to poor gypsy villages.
We spent many happy hours sifting through baby clothes and loved putting thought and effort into each box.
Just when I thought things couldn’t get better, my team and team Ahava (the other team we are with this month) surprised me with a true Thanksgiving dinner!
You see, Canadian Thanksgiving was this past Monday – October 9th and I’m the only Canadian on our whole squad.
So, being the loving, beautiful people they are they brought Thanksgiving to me.
The most beautiful part of Thanksgiving dinner was our hosts saying they had gained 7 daughters and 6 sons. They are what I’m most thankful for this month.
