The past year has have been a roller coaster ride to say the least.  From leaving my job, to leaving Florida, to leaving my girls that I mentor, to leaving my mini human niece, to leaving friends and family, to fundraising and discovering the people who truly believe in you, to packing my life up into a 65 liter big pack and a small back pack and leaving America with 24 strangers to live life out like Jesus did..yall it’s been a roller coasters of learning to say yes to EVERY single thing God has called me too.

And with that reaping the fruit; I have learned how to live and love in a healthy community, with people who push you to become your full potential, with people who push me to step out in faith,  peoole who correct me with grace and love. People who refuse to stand by and let me sit in the victim circle, instead help me get out,  some times drag me out and in return I have become the person who is not afraid to do the “crazy” things like preach, sing out loud, dance with Jesus in public, just be fully myself with no chains attached.

 Romans 2:6-7

6 God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.

Some of you may know, next month is our final month on the world race as V squad and we are ending in Indonesia. So in a week all 24 of us will he flying to Indonesia, except myself and three of my teammates will be flying to Australia for two weeks. Yes!! Australia!!

Wait Australia isn’t on your route you may say but thank God for being a God of possibilities and a leadership team that trust us. We asked leadership if we could go to Australia and so ministry and meet the squad back in Indonesia when we are done and the answer was yes, own it and GO!!

So a team of four will be flying to Australia for two weeks and making our way back to Indonesia to meet up with our squad for final debrief in Bali.

As I was sitting and reflecting with God, I heard Him say “You are going to Australia and ending in Bali,  how amazing.”

I am still amazed at how much God loves me, but also how much fruit comes from saying YES!! I said yes to the call of going on the world race and I get to travel the world, fall in love, go to countries that I once upon a time only dreamed of going too.

Saying yes is not always easy and the journey is not easy but soo worth it. Not only do you get to grow closer to your loving creator but you also get to go on endless adventure with Him.

 Luke 11:28

He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

So say yes to the calling God has placed on your life, even if no one supports you, even if you are called crazy and acting irrational,  if you know that God is calling you to it…OWN IT & GO!!!
