When God called me to sign up for the world race, when He told me to resign from my job, leave Florida, leave New Jersey, my niece, my girls, my boys, my entire family & go travel the world for Him…I have to say at first I was like yesssssssssssssssssss!! Like when you just found out you won a new car but than it started to sink in…I am leaving EVERYTHING I have worked hard for, I am leaving friendships that took years to form, I am leaving a mentor that I finally had & love, I am leaving my nieces and nephews, I am leaving all the kiddies I mentor, I am leaving best friends, cousins, my shoes (yes I said it, my shoes, your girl may not look like it but I enjoy myself some cute booties and heels!!) 

And now I wouldn’t have ask for a different path to my life. 
 

He never said it would be easy but He said it would be worth it.  Moment of vulnerability coming at you in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…Fundraising has been testing my faith, my heart, my mind and my walk.  I have always struggle when it came to trusting God financially, He ALWAYS provided but I ALWAYS worried & tried to fix it myself (One day I will learn), so when I found out that I had to raise $17,617 in order to go on the world race and stay on it, I may or may not have had a moment of OMGoodness what am I doing? 

God response, trusting and obeying me. Now I would like to say that after that moment, it was smooth sailing but that would be a lie and I can not tell a lie.  Truth is there’s fear, fear of having to go home if I don’t get fully funded by November 30th (yes that is what will happen if I don’t make my deadline).  Fearful of having to leave my squad, leadership and my amazing family of a team.  Fearful I will end up right back in America working day in and day out and just loosing myself.

Fearful that my squad will move on and forget about me, fearful that I will have to move back in with my mom and have to hurry and get a job because that is what would be expected (at lease in my head it would be). 

In mist of all this fear, the most weirdest thing of all, is that I am in complete peace. Peace knowing that God is in full control, peace in knowing that IF I don’t get fully funded and have to go back to America, that God will take care of me like He ALWAYS has and ALWAYS will.  Peace that I will be fully funded and not have to go back to America before time. Peace that whatever happens, I will still love, trust and follow God with ALL my heart and SOUL!!

Because no matter what happens, God has called me to a place in my life where I get to be an example, an example to the people who don’t think they can, an example to those who wish they could and still can, He has called me to be an example to the hopeless, the broken, the orphan, the lost and the ones who think they are unable to do much to make a change in the world.  God is using me to tell stories that will encourage, change lives, change hearts and change the way people love each other and themselves.  He is using me to make a difference world wide (America included).  He is using all of us to change the perspective of family and friends.

He has called me to a path where He has given me six amazing people that I call team, no, FAMILY. Who love me enough to let me know when I have done things out of my character, out of the person I want to become. They love me enough to allow me to be fully myself, through the good days, bad days and days where I want to scream!!!  God has blessed me with a new family who cares for me and continue and fights to learn even more on how to love and care for me better.  He has given me a family where it is safe to give them constructive feedback and they not blow a fuse, a safe place where we can tell each other of our fears, our sins and areas we struggle in.  

So I am asking you to partner with me, partner with me and be part of the story where I am fully funded, where my faith grows but so does yours and soo many others.  Partner with me by praying and donating to help get me to my goal of $17,617, which I am only $6,288 away from being fully funded.
