France has been amazing! The people here are extraordinarily diverse. Each person has a unique story. I’ve met new friends who flee from war torn countries and have lost family members to violence and corruption. We sang and danced with locals who claim no religion and have a bitter taste of church in their mouths. I’ve seen women trapped in trafficking and women on my team run to meet them, be with them, and love them. We learned French from the sweet old French lady who lives down the street. We sat with an American. Sang with the French. Ran with the Refugee. And Experienced more of the world here in one city than I ever would have expected. We’ve shared with all true love. They all see the difference Christ makes in our lives. We’ve shared Hope.
From France, there is opportunity to reach places in the world where we would otherwise be kept out. Here is a list of all the countries I have encountered over the last few weeks. And here are some (there are hundreds more) of the lovely flowers we’ve come across throughout the city and countryside of France.
