It’s happening again. I flew down to Georgia about a week ago. Since coming home from the race, everything has felt a little like de ja vu. So much familiarity. At the same time, so much is different.
Being back in Georgia a year later has been so crazy. If you don’t know, or don’t remember, I was in a pretty weird headspace this time last year. I was about to leave everything I knew and was comfortable with for a whole eleven months. I was terrified. I might have even admitted that I didn’t really want to go.
I am so thankful that I did, though. I was right exactly where God wanted me to be. And once again, I am in the same spot, only this time, I know that this is where God wants me.
So if you’re unaware, I am leaving again with the World Race to lead a new team for the first two months of their eleven month trip. We are heading to Haiti for our first month, and then on to the Dominican Republic for month two.
Pray for us! For safety, for unity, that we would hear the Lord and do what He says. Also, pray for our funding! I am over 70% funded, with about $790 left. Please consider if the Lord is asking you to contribute to what He is doing in and through my life.
And what about you? Do you feel stuck where you’re at? Like maybe it’s a mistake? Maybe you need a bit of clarity or insight. Ask the Lord to speak to you and then actually take the time to listen. Because He will if you give him the space to.
Xoxo,
Naomi
