Well, it’s official. I am so excited to share that I am going to be traveling to 11 countries in 11 months, sharing the love of Jesus with the world. This adventure has been something I have been praying about for quite some time.

About two and a half years ago, I first heard about the World Race through a family friend. I was immediately interested and continued to look into it. I soon realized that I was still a few years too young to go, but I didn’t mind because I still had two years of Bible College to complete. During that time, I did a lot of serious praying and wondering, trying to see if this really was what the Lord would have me do. There were so many things that terrified me, but brought so much excitement regarding the race. Being away from my family for that long of a period was not something that I liked the thought of. With all the unrest in the world, I was not sure if I really wanted to adventure out into it. But, even with these concerns, I still felt the Lord prodding my heart and holding my hand, reminding me that it would all be okay and that He would lead me through the midst of it all. So, I applied, was accepted (Thank you, Jesus!), and now I am in the process of preparing, raising support, and trying to wrap my mind about everything that is going to happen over these next short months.

My team and I will be traveling to Mozambique, Madagascar, Swaziland, India, China, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Nepal, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. We will be leaving in January. Before we leave, we will be having a ten day training camp in Georgia where we will be able to meet and prepare as much as possible for the things we may encounter on the race. This will take place in October. Please be in prayer as preparations take place on the home end and support is being raised. If you would like to give, just click the donate button. Anything helps! Also, feel free to subscribe to my blog, where I will be posting updates and prayer requests throughout this whole entire journey.
