Here are some pictures from my final month of ministry on the World Race!

We spent two weeks serving with a ministry called Fundacion Pioneros, which means “Pioneer Foundation” in English. Our hosts were a young married couple, and the wife was actually a former Racer! We loved hanging out with them and pouring into their ministry. They assist with the local farm schools in the area of Filandia, as well as partner with a youth group in a local church in the city of Armenia. Their individual ministry is an after-school care program where kids in the area can come and finish homework, get a snack, and play with their friends while their parents are working. We also got to speak on a radio program called Radio Languages!

We are now in Bogota, Colombia! A few of my squadmates and I are here to do a week of freelance ministry/ATL (Ask The Lord). The rest of the squad is scattered around cities in Colombia, doing the same thing! This is to serve the purpose of allowing us to transition back into everyday life in the states; where structured ministry isn’t provided and we get to minister to others while just living life. It’s only been 2 days, but it’s really cool to see the people that the Lord brings into our path. My friend, Mikayla, and I have already had a few adventures like getting lost on public transit and making friends with bus drivers, shopping in Sunday markets, visiting an international church that caters to English speakers in Bogota, as well as encourage other believers we have come across and share the Gospel with the locals. It’s already been packed, but super restful!

After this week, we have our FINAL DEBRIEF with the entire squad and Squad Leaders, Squad Mentor, and Squad Coaches for a final celebration!
