Broken glass everywhere.
That was the view that was so hard for us to comprehend, as we stared, dumbfounded, at our car.
My sister and I had just left REI after making the largest purchase of our lives, $3,000-worth of supplies we needed for the World Race. Paid for, in full, by cash tips we’d earned waiting tables on the weekends.
Now, most of it was gone. Police said the culprits had followed us from the store.
It felt like a punch in the gut. It was, straight from the enemy himself.
Through our emotions, we’re focusing on God’s promises. That what the enemy intended for evil, God will use for His good. That in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
We’ve been called. He is faithful.
