I had a conversation with a friend today in which he described the Netflix Show “Stranger Things”. He spoke about it with so much passion, it was inspiring!
He said, “There’s always a new part to the plot. That’s why I re- watch it so many times.”
I want to read the word with the intrigue with which he watches that show! I want to tell Bible stories with that much enthusiasm! I want to describe scenes and characters with that much detail- I want to be as engaged in God’s word as my friend is in Stranger Things.
And the show isn’t even real.
And my God IS!
God’s words should thrill me like that! His words should fill me with that much excitement!
