Recently, our squad took a couple of days in the mountains to debrief our month, and prepare for travel to our next country. It was perfect…rolling green hills, fields of dandelions, freshly bloomed apricot trees, and horses roaming free on the vast green acres.

While there, I met the cutest family on their annual vacation. On our 3rd day there, the mom came to talk to me and my friend Brittani after breakfast. She told us, “One of your friends shared that you guys get to tell people about God when you travel. Why haven’t you told us? I want to know about your God! My children have been asking, ‘Why are these people so happy, and always smiling?’ And I tell them it’s because you share about God!”
Talk about conviction! There are no “days off,” from kingdom living. It’s who we are, period. Whether it’s a “ministry day,” a day buying groceries, or time off in the mountains, we are witnesses to the One true hope…that’s our purpose.
So, we shared with her about the eternal hope, freedom, and purpose we’ve found in Jesus, and that which is available for her and her family as well. She was full of curiosity and joy! Though she didn’t make a decision in that moment, we continue to sow in faith. We’re assured that our obedience to the Lord is never in vain; He completes the work that He starts.
Thanks so much for all of your prayers and support! We have about 4 weeks left before coming back to the States. We’d appreciate prayers to finish well and to finish strong!
