When I signed on for the World Race I knew fundraising was gonna be hard, but I didn’t think it’d be This hard!!! The first thing you notice about the World Race is gonna be the cost, I mean lets be real $17,617 should scare you! And it way more then does, just the thought that you have such a limited amount of time to get this insane amount of money together is a little more than slightly terrifying. One thing I’ve learned so far is that I stink at talking about me, don’t get me wrong you can ask me about almost anything and I’d be able to give you an answer right away. But the second you ask me to talk about something personal it’s like I forget how to talk!!! Mostly because asking people for money is so Awkward…. and I know it’s never not gonna be awkward. Yes, even when it’s for such an amazing life changing missions trip it’s still weird,  but knowing that it’s part of Gods will for my life right now and that He will supply my every need on this journey I need only ask. So this is gonna be that awkward post about the money side of my race.

The one question I keep getting asked is “How’s fundraising coming??”, well honestly it could be better….. but the only way it’s gonna get better is by people believing in me and in this missions trip as much as I do and who are willing to support me in pray and by helping me reach my financial deadlines. So how can you help?? Pray, pray about how you can best support me. It doesn’t have to be financial, it can simply be words of encouragement, lending a helping hand when I do fundraisers, or just simply praying for God to guide me as I look to him for answers on what to do next to reach my goals!! God has made it so clear to me that this is a part of His plan for me, and that He is with me and can use the smallest gift to be the biggest blessing. He’s teaching me to stay humble, and ask boldly while remaining soft spoken. I want a story to come from all this that shows how great God is, and how truly worthy He is of all the glory.

Here in the next few weeks I’ll be launching what I hope will be a big fundraiser for my trip called Adopt a Country. Now there are few different ideas I have floating around on how nest to do this one and I feel God leading me towards of them. While I finish a few little touches here and there I want to ask that you start praying about what God would have you do.

Before I end this post I want to share with y’all something to show that just how no gift is too small, so let’s break down some numbers….
