During our quiet time one morning this past week, we were asked to do a prophetic painting. To just spend time in prayer with the Lord and whatever image he gave, that’s what we should paint. An image that Jesus always gives me, is He and me dancing in an open field and him just holding me tightly in his arms while he calls me his beloved daughter. I feel so free and so full of joy dancing with him, so I felt like he was telling me to share this image with a girl that has not yet discovered that freedom and joy. Afterwards, they took us to the red light district where we just walked the streets while praying and if we felt led to give our pictures to a specific girl then that’s what we did and then prayed over her. It was so incredible just getting to speak life and truth over these women who are stuck in something that has such a tight grip on them.

[Zephaniah 3:17: For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”]

“rejoice over you” – literally means “dance, skip, leap, and spin around in joy.” God dances with shouts of joy over us! How much more should we dance with joy since He is in our midst?
