I’m hungry
I’m famished for more
More wisdom, more guidance, more perspective, more confirmation
Yet I’m full
I’m feeding others before myself and still I’m more than satisfied
I teach them what I know, all I’ve learned and what I’m walking through
And as I feed them, I think nothing of myself
but I focus on their nutrition:
Are they getting the nutrients they need?
Are they getting enough?
Then He shows me the good work He’s done through me
I see them full,
Hugging their bellies in satisfaction
I see them feeding others
And even telling the others where they found the food
This is what working for the Lord looks like; I give and get more than I could imagine.
I give more than I have within myself, and I feed more than I could feed myself.
He’s doing it all,
And it’s all So satisfying
