Today I have been put to the test in many areas I feel weak in and all I can say is that it was through the Lord I was able to do these things better than I expected of myself and in doing so He blessed people. Whether the test be of my singing, or translating, or simply dealing with the pain of missing my people over the holidays, the Lord continually renewed my strength and reminded me of who He is and who I am to Him and why I’m here. He took those weaknesses of mine and used them to bless those around me and show me more of who He is. Within the Word, it’s said multiple times that the Lord is our strength and He uses our weaknesses to further demonstrate His awesome glory and at the end of the day I can thank God for each weakness of mine, whether that be my average-at-best singing or still-working-on-it translations or my desires to be back with those I know and love deeply. No trial or test goes without purpose with the Lord and He works all things for the good of those who love Him and, boy, do I!! As I walk into a Christmas season unlike any other I’ve had before I am confident that anything that comes from the new experiences and environment will bring about more understanding and intimacy with Him and blessings for those all around!
