I can’t believe in less than one week we will be leaving Romania and heading to Bulgaria! My heart is heavy with the sadness of having to say goodbye but I also feel blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know the people here.
I have only been on the race for two months but I feel like I have already learned so much. Honestly it has been such a growing and humbling experience to be on the race. You see, even in the midst of extreme poverty the people here have been so giving. They have absolutely shattered my idea of what true hospitality and servanthood should look like, and shown me what it really means to serve like Jesus. I can only hope that one day someone looks at me and thinks that, that’s really all I could ask for in life.
We’ve created some really beautiful relationships here and seen so many people come to know the Lord. It’s been such an honor getting to know them and getting to be apart of their walk with Jesus. This journey has not always been easy but my goodness, I would not change it for the world. I feel so blessed that God called me to this life and I know that this is absolutely where He wants me.
In return God has also been so faithful in His promises to us. Again the people here have so little but God has always provided for them. He has sent people to help when they needed help, He has provided food so that their families would not go hungry, and given them a place to lay their heads. God is so good when you put your trust in Him! It’s been really awesome to see how He has been moving and showing up for people over the last two months, even in such poverty. Nothing is too big for our God to handle!
Just like people of Albania and Romania I know God will provide financially for me as well. This where I need your help though, in order to stay on the race and continue to build relationships and spread the love of Jesus. I still need $1,200 in order to reach my next deadline of $13,000 by September 30th. Anything you can do to help would be great this could include: sharing my blog, praying for me, telling your friends, and prayerfully considering financially supporting me.
I can’t even express how thankful I am to all of the people who have already supported and believed in me and to the people who will continue to support and believe in me in the future. I am eternally grateful to have this opportunity to serve, share, and spread the love of Jesus to others, and it wouldn’t be possible without your help. This journey has already made such an impact on those across the nations as well as myself. If you have any questions, comments, or just want to talk you can email me at [email protected]. Again I am so thankful for each and every one of you!
