Today has been one of those days where I asked myself how exactly did I get here.
I was with team Saahas for the day and we were told we were going to school for ministry.
I thought ok a pretty normal day here. We would get to hang out with kids, teach, and most likely play some.
To my surprise that assumption wasn’t quite what happened.
My team and I loaded up in the truck and headed to school.
We got there and the head mistress said we would be cleaning. Not knowing exactly what that meant we said great.
Next thing we knew we were loading chairs in the back of the truck and heading to the river.
Cleaning chairs in the river was what we did and it was so fun!
All the chairs and the start of a really fun day of ministry!
Scrubb a dub dub.
Clean chairs and a great day!
We got to the river and one by one put the chairs and ourselves in and started scrubbing away. Never would I have imagined I would end up in a river in India washing chairs.
At first I questioned why. Then I thought no this is an opportunity to help this school and these teachers. We get to clean and help prepare their classroom for the school year. What a blessing and honor. Perspective is huge and can change the mundane into something incredible.
