The World Race, easily described as one of the hardest and most rewarding things I have ever done.
Families were impacted. Communities were changed. Orphans were loved. People were educated. Churches were helped. Ultimately, individuals came to know Jesus and learned about the one true King.
Everything about this past year has completely changed my perspective and how I do life. I want to share the gifts and many areas that I have grown in and give it to others.
So I’m doing it again!
That’s right friends I am going back out on the field for round two. This time will look a little different though and I am stoked!
I am going out as a squad leader for World Race Gap Year.
This will look like me discipling and leading a group of fifty 18-20 year olds over a span of 9 months. I have the opportunity to pour into these incredible humans as they figure out their identities in Christ and how they play a role in building the Kingdom. We will travel to five countries and partner with local churches and organizations to share the love of Jesus.
In July, I will travel back to Gainesville, Georgia where I will meet my squad for their training camp. Then in September we will come back together as we get ready to launch! I haven’t been told my route yet, but once I do you, I will let you know!
There are a few ways for you to partner with me again.
First, please keep my squad and I in your prayers. We are going to need it!
I am praying freedom over my new squad. I am praying they know the authority they have in Jesus and ask in that authority. I am praying this squad would choose to say yes and have willing spirits. I am praying ultimately that they would have a heart after Jesus and love out of a place of overflow.
Second, subscribe to my blog. I will be posting stories from the field (wifi permitting) throughout my time over the next few months.
And third, please prayerfully consider supporting me financially. I need to raise $3,800 over the next couple of months.
I am super excited about this next season and can’t wait to watch the Father’s plan unfold.
