AFRICA
That’s right friends, you read correctly, I am going back to Africa, more specifically Zambia, Botswana, and South Africa….leaving next month, as in January!
I will be heading back out at the end of January to serve in Africa for three months to lead a group of young adults and serve alongside them in a variety of ministries.
As the Race came to an end, the question was continually posed what’s next?
I was honestly unsure of what was next for me. I had a job offer in the states waiting for me. I had dreams/visions the Lord had given me and I wanted to follow. I had a ton of thoughts of what could be and what might be. I thought about going back out on a trip or maybe even leading a trip.
The Lord told me to choose and He trusted me with my decision.
At the end of every day, I couldn’t help but think about the fact that there are people around the world that have never heard the name of Jesus and may not make it another day due to their circumstances. Their time is limited and I need to go and meet them where they are.
So I chose to go back out, in confidence the Lord would provide and trusting that He has a plan.
There are thousands of people searching and waiting to hear the name of Jesus, yearning for His relentless pursuit, and wanting to hear there is hope.
It gets better though, not only do I get to go back out and share the love of Jesus Christ! I also get to lead a group of young adults, disciple them, share what I have learned over this past year, and live life alongside them.
So here we go to another three months of living out of a backpack, going into the unknown, and adventuring with the Creator of the Universe! Super pumped and I can’t wait to see what the Lord has planned!
**I will be speaking at Indian Springs on Wednesday, December 13th at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall if you are interested in hearing me share about this past year on the Race.
