Team: The Great White Sharks?

Team changes happened and I am now leading an all girls team of 7! ?To be completely honest The Great White Sharks when originally chosen had absolutely no meaning whatsoever.

Come to find out though sharks never stop swimming. They swim when they eat. They swim when they sleep. They swim all the time and if they stop they will die. This is how we want to pursue the Lord, all the time. Pursuing Him in the hard, the easy, and the in between. I want to finish this season of my life well. I want to come in exhausted, tired, and having left everything on the table. Just like my shark friends not stopping but being in constant motion and pursuit of the Lord.

Ministry for the month: We are partnering with a school here in Bangkok. They have written their own curriculum and have intertwined scripture into what they are teaching. They have a church that meets weekly at their school and cell groups twice a week. We are also partnering with another ministry here that goes out into the bars and reaches out to victims of human trafficking. Once a week we get the opportunity to go out into the slums and love on that community.

Living Condition: We are staying in an apartment. We have an empty room where several of us are sleeping on the floor with our sleeping pads. We have a room that is connected with one bed where a couple of girls are sleeping. We have a bathroom with Western toilets, running water, and electricity. Praises because we also have air conditioning this month!

Food: Street food is what we get to eat this month! Mango sticky rice, chicken and rice, stir fry, pork and rice, oh and a little more rice after that. Rice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! They also have 7/11 here which means hot dog sandwiches when you get tired of rice.
