Ministry for the month: We are in a small town in Montenegro and ministry looks very different here. Our ministry hosts vision is just to build relationships with people and meet them exactly where they are at, doing day to day tasks. Each day looks different and we are using the gifts the Lord has given us to reach out to people. People here are more closed off and it takes time to get to know them. We are meeting people in their shops, having coffee dates, and talking with people where we are staying. Be praying for open hearts as some of these people have never heard the word religion much less the name of Jesus.

Living Condition: We are staying in a hotel this month. We have beds, running water, western toilets, and showers.

Food: We have had fruit and yogurt for breakfast. For lunch we have made friends with the people in the bakeries and tried a number of pastries from questionable meats to hot dogs wrapped in a pizza sauce in a croissant. For dinner we are eating at the hotel and each night is a surprise.

Local Language: Serbian

Currency: 1.15 Euro to $1

Climate: The weather is quite nice here, a little warm during the day but fairly cool in the mornings and evenings.

Interesting Fact: Montenegro is the least evangelized country in Eastern Europe. This country only has three Christian churches which is still mind boggling to me.
