The Lord is speaking and moving all around us.

We were evangelizing and walking down the road when a guy appeared at the top of the hill. We stopped and talked with him. He told us that he was waiting for a car to be delivered and we could talk with him until the car came.

We told him we didn’t need much time and would love to just encourage him and pray with him. We found out that he loves Jesus and goes to church regularly. We asked if we could pray with him before he had to go. He agreed and said he would love for us to pray with him.

As we were praying I began to ask the Lord how could I encourage Freedom and is there anything else that I need to ask before we leave. He gave me a vision of a funnel that had sand that was being sucked down to the bottom from gravity. I had no idea what this meant. I began to ask the Lord for clarity. He began to tell me that Freedom was being pulled under but the Lord was still there and could pull him out, he just needed to follow Him. Still unsure of what this meant or if it was even applicable to Freedom, I stepped out in faith that this vision was from the Lord.

I told Freedom about the vision the Lord had shown me and that I wasn’t exactly sure what it meant. I told him to pray about it and hoped it was encouraging. Without any hesitation he said I know exactly what this means. He had been struggling with whether or not he was supposed to move back to the capital. He began to share about how he felt as though he was being pulled down due to the people around him and how they were impacting him. He said this was confirmation from the Lord that He was supposed to move and follow where the Lord was leading.

The Lord speaks to each of us.

“The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.” John 10:3-4

We were designed to hear the Lord’s voice.

The Lord is speaking and moving all around us.

How often do we step back and listen? How often do we wait for an answer from the Lord? How often do we follow where He is leading? How often do we speak out what He is sharing?
