WOW.
It’s funny how God works right? For the longest time, I have felt like I have been sleep walking through life. Little excited me and I couldn’t really find a reason to go out and be productive. Since I have been accepted to the race, everyday seems brighter. I feel happy and joyful. I cannot tell you the last time I have felt joy.
Lately, I have been helping my friend out with her non-profit and I LOVE IT. I seriously love helping out with anything and everything. It comes at an interesting time because I’m helping her fundraise for something I am so passionate about and trying to raise $17,000 for the race.
It can get confusing.
Even though I am doing all of these things, I feel so needed. I feel like everyday I wake up and there is something I can do. I am a person who loves to feel needed. Even if it’s little, I love to help.
This has me waking up with a good attitude every day. I have so longed for this feeling. I have felt a glimpse of this joy only a couple of times. I feel it most when I’m in Haiti. The better I feel, the closer I feel like I am to what God has made me to do.
I just know that I am on the right path and it is so satisfying.
